Abstract:
This paper investigates the allegations on Pir Rokhan that his teachings are not based on the Shariah. His opponents feel that his teachings do not fully reveal the true glory of Allah. They further feel that mysticism is separate to Shariah. On the other hand Pir Rokhan feels that the main aim of Shariah is to achieve an understanding of Allah. This paper seeks to prove through the text of Kairal-ul-Bayan and other related books on Islamic Sufism that for Pir Rokhan mysticism and Shariah were one and the same.
