Abstract:
This paper explores the Pakhtoon folk romances. The Pakhtoon like the rest of the world have a great affection for their folk romances. These romances not only reflect aspects of Pakhtoon society and civilization but also embody and contain the deep emotions related to love. This paper on the one hand describes the the Pakhtoon nation and the on other hand is a deep study of the Pakhtoon customs and culture. Light is also shed in this paper on the significance and position of these romances in Pakhtoon folklore.
