by Shazia Babar
Abstract:
Abdul Ghani Khan is without doubt the greatest of the modern Pakhtoon poet. His popularity among the public is unprecedented. Abdul Ghani Khan is a true Pakhtoon born in a society that does not encourage a creative and seeking spirit. But it is the contradiction of the Pakhtoon society that where it has given birth to hardened warriors and fighters at the same time it has produced soft, gentle, caring, creative geniuses like Ghani Khan. His petry has many facets and his readers are mesmerized by his imagination that has the ability to paint picturesque details of whatever subject he sets out to explore. In this paper the imagination of Ghani Khan discussed.
