Abstract = {This paper is an attempt to highlight the impact of smuggling. The
impact of smuggling is discussed in Newspapers and official circles in a partial way by focusing only on the Government revenue, loss and erosion of producer’s protection. This discussion have totally ignored the much larger gain to the millions Pakistani’s consumers who buy cheaper and better products and thus experience a gain in their income. The strongest argument against smuggling is that it is against the Law of the country.},
