Abstract:
This paper contains a detailed study of the most prominent Pakhtun leaders who played a vital role in the war of independence 1857. The Indian Subcontinent has passed through different stages of history, Commencing with the arrival of Muhammd Bin Qasim in Sindh. It has been attacked by different invaders. The War of Independence is a very important chapter in the political history of Subcontinent. It is due to the British cunningness, unfair dominance, unnecessary bloodshed and cruel behavior. The here all the factors have been traced back which resulted in the War of Independence 1857 along with consequences.
