Abstract:
Sabakh or style literally means gold and silver and in poetry it is related to a poet of great literary thought and philosophy like Hameed Baba. He is well versed in poetic techniques and in the use of unique personal imageries and similes. Hameed Baba is the first Pashto poet who is greatly influenced by this Hindi style. This influence gives Pashto poetry freshness and originality that given rise to high and profound thought and the use of new comparisons and imageries.
