Abstract = {Iqbal was the only person who for the first time introduced Khushal
Khan Khattak among the Urdu speaking Circle in the Indo Pak subcontinent by composing Urdu/Persian verses in honour of Khushal Khan Khattak, icon of the Pashto literature. He also wrote an article in English "Khushal Khan Khattak, Afghan Warrior poet" published by Islamic Culture, Hyderabad deccan Iqbal's writings reveal that he was greatly impressed by Khushal Khan Khattak. It is also a very happy coincidence that one can find outstanding similarties in their thoughts reverberating in their poetic work. In this article the author has tried to offer some of the glimpses of their parity in thoughts.},
