Abstract:
Maazullah Khan Momand (1085-1170 AH) is a famous Pashto poet of 12th century Hijri who has to his credit verses with multi-Shaded colours. His verses are embellished with explicit, and some times, implicit hues of allusions. He (Momand) is ever remembered and celebrated for a rich stock of allusions which, in turn, make his Deewan (collection) a collage of very fine allusions. This article aims at discovering the different kinds of allusions to be traced through the cultural, social, religious and intellectual depths and are perfected to the zenith of literary horizon.
