Abstract = {This paper discusses the split infinitive and Split verb in Puxtho
Speech, in detail. It also elaborates that the English split infinitive is not a Split infinitive as such, rather that can be called, safely, the separated infinitive, separated from the world to by placing between the two any adverb. But in Puxtho and other oriental languages like Urdu the split infinitive exists in its real form, and according to the meaning of the word SPLIT. Urdu speech has the split verb/infinitive in actual shape, too. The split infinitive in Puxtho and Urdu Speeches help to make the said language more idiomatic and establish the dialectal characterization of these languages, more conspicuously. This paper also shows the frequency of all Splitting particles/Phrases, both in verse as well as in prose. It has also been determined that Abdur Rahman Baba's (R.A) poetry is in abundance with the Phrase having split verb/infinitive and it makes his poetry more sweet, smooth and simple, which reflects the real feelings of Puxthūn masses.},
