Abstract:
In this research paper the life and struggles of Akhun Sallak have been highlighted. Also in this paper a historical perspective of the term Akhund or Akhun has been traced. Furthermore, it is discussed how this name Akhund Sallak turned into Akhund Challak and the researcher has tried to trace the origin of this change.
