Abstract:
The evolution of Pashto short stories (afsana) has been divided into two periods, before independence and after independence. Among the prominent short story writers, after independence, Ms. Zaitoon Bano is the leading personality. She has discussed the matters of women of Pashtoon society boldly and frankly. Her short stories has the standard of international literature. Here in this research paper her short stories have been critically evaluated.
