Abstract:
This paper throws light on the history, and relevant information on the Alphabet. The available information regarding the ABJAD has been, briefly, collected and analyzed, to an extent. Making the available information on the subject as background, this process reaches the prevailing ABJAD, Table: A ا لودـج and then the updated and augmented Abjad, Table B ب لودـج, which is, actually, the out put of research in the relevant field. Here, it has been avoided to discuss the Alphabet as Phoneme, and or a base of the orthographic system.
