Abstract:
Poetical opinion of Khushal Baba has greatly affected Pashto poetry and literature; in this essay, the issue has been brought under discussion. Firstly, opinions of other scholars and writers have been presented about poetry and then the opinion of Khushal Baba on poetry has been deliberated and has been made clear that his opinions and thoughts have deeply changed both form and content of Pashto poetry. His opinion relies on correction, renovation, diversity and evolution. In reality, the current relation and proportion in Pashtoons life and literature have been brought into existence due to his poetical and literary hard striving and assiduity.
