Philosophy of Death in the Poetry of Ghani Khan\protect \RL (bibtex)

Abstract:
Abdul Ghani Khan is the most prominent and well known poet of Pashto poetry for his poetry he is highly appreciated. In this article Ghani Khan deals with the philosophy of death. As human beings are the centre of his poetry and in human being the theme of life and death is the centre of his interest. The image of death has haunted Ghani Khan from his very early life. But Ghani Khan deals with the theme of death in a different way depending upon his mood and occasion and he gives different expression for death in his poetry. Sometimes he considers it as a challenge and threat which deprive him of this glittering world.
