Abstract:
Sketch is that kind of depiction in prose through which a vivid but concise image of a desired personality is brought to light. This genre was introduced in Pashto after independence and it was borrowed from Urdu literature where its found its roots English. In this research article various aspects of Pashto Sketch including its Definition, kinds, development and its significant role in Pashto literary realm would be elaborately highlighted.
