Abstract:
Tappa is the reflection of Pakhtoon unpurified and rough nature. If some one wants to know about Pakhtoon history, their social and traditional nature, he should study Pakhtoon’s Tappa. Ajmal Khattak had a taste for Tappa at that time when he could not even speak. After words when he started to know about life he observed his predecessor in surrounding that they conveyed their thoughts that they through, Tappa, Charbita and Matal. He strongly convinced that his poetry imitation of Charbita. Ajmal Khattak has tried his luck in every genre of Pashto literature, just like Khushal Khattak, but he couldn’t dare to try Tappa, but had memorized hundred of Tappa’s which adorned his writing and speeches and made his audience astonished. In their content all his columns and articles published in Bang-e-Haram are worth reading that column named “Kachkol” started this Tappa. Stanza 1: (د بې ارزۍ کچکوله مات شے), Stanza 2: (چې در په در دِ ګرځوم تش دِ راوړمه). Then when he wrote the column on a topic he wrote a related tappa at the end. Along with all these he wrote poems in the light of historical tappa, which made tappa everlasting genre.
