Abstract:
Pashto first ever Novel is not yet decided. Many researcher have done their research to prove which one novel is the first ever Pashto Novel in the history of Pashto fiction. Some of the researchers have arguments about Mah e Rokhi or Nateeja e Eshq of Rahat Zakheli is the first novel of Pashto and some have argued that Bey Tarbyata Zway of Noor Muhammad Taraki is the first published Pashto Novel. What the reality is, it is still in the veils of time and dust of unpredictable evidences. This paper is going to prove that Mah e Rokhi or Nateeja e Eshq is the first ever-published novel of Pashto and the other thing, which is also important that is to prove that Mah e Rokhi is a complete novel and is not translation of any other novel. The need to prove these things is because of one of the researcher; Rasheed Ahmad has urged in his booklet that Mah e Rokhi is not a complete published Pashto first novel. So in this paper it has tried to provide the evidence with references to clear the ambiguity about Pashto First published Novel, Mah e Rokhi which had written by Syed Rahat Zakheli.
