Abstract:
Hyku is a unique form of poetry originated Japan and then migrated to their other parts of the world including Pakistan. This form of poetry has been welcomed in Pashto due to its similarity with the Pashto Tapa. Today a number of Pashto poets are giving place to hyku in their poetry. In this article it has been endeavored to put light on hyku in its relation with Pashto poetry.
